Even though Ajith decided to act for a movie planned to be produced by Shivaji Productions, he was much worried about the director for the movie.
So, the producers were searching for a much talented and efficient director for Ajith starrer movie and now they have got settled with Saran.
Saran was a sishyan of KB and has given super hit movies like Vasool Raja MBBS, Gemini etc.,
The movie is being titled as 'Asal' (original) and the team is searching for a pair for Ajith. To be noted here is that Ajith is not interested to pair with Nayan due to consistent failures with her and also saying NO to Trisha, as she did rowdism with the support of her BF, against Ajith fans.

Rajini depends on Santhanam for Enthiran success?

Super star now depends on super comedians for the success of his movie. Enthiran, the mega budget movie of Rajini is going to have as many comedians possible as Rajini is not ready to repeat another Kuselan.

Santhanam - who performed well in small screen has been pulled into Enthiran. Santhanam is so happy over his presence in a Rajini starrer movie that too in a big budget movie. He feels that his career will have a boost.

Team Peraanmai soon to commence next schedule

Peraanmai movie is almost nearing completion.

Jeyam Ravi, the protagonist of the movie is extremely happy about the penning of screenplay in “Peraanmai”. For the first time he is doing a tough I and out action movie where he fights against the strongest antagonists force. Hollywood actors Roland Kickinger and Siso Kamburov are donning the powerful antagonist role in the movie; the actors left the country three weeks earlier after completion of their schedules. But for now it’s only Jeyam Ravi and the five heroines who must continue to film their parts that will be commencing by third week of December. It is rumored that Jeyam Ravi is getting ready to tie the knot very soon. Don’t know how many ladies out their felt heartbroken by now!

Villu sure for Pongal

Team Villu is working vigorously for more than three months.

Just before two days the team returned from Thiruchendur after almost 20days shoot.
Now Vijay and Nayanthara are occupied shooting for unique sequence in Mill backdrop.
The team members, including the lead pairs exudes with confidence.
Villu is shot in full swing for completion, the reason being the movie slated for Pongal release.

Prabhu Deva lost his son to cancer

Noted choreographer and leading director Prabhudeva's 13 year old son Vishal passed away today morning at his house in Chennai. It has plunged the Deva household into grief

Vishal was fighting a losing battle with cancer from a young age. Prabhudeva was constantly by the side of his son, in his last days. In fact the little boy was given the best medical care available in the world.
Film personalities including Ajith, Vijay, Prakashraj, Sreeman, director SA Chandrasekharan, cinematographer Raviverman, directors Tharun Gopi, Arun Pandian among others thronged to Prabhu Deva's house. Vishal will be buried at Besant Nagar crematorium.

Rajini's Enthiran stopped

The crew was filming effectively in a splendid set designed by art director Sabu Cyril in one of the city’s school. Its mansoon which has brought incessant rains and stormy weather made the team to stop their work.
Not only Rajini's Enthiran shooting has been cancelled due to rain, but many other movie shootings, which were to be taken on outdoors are stopped.
Business at Kollywood is stand-still now and will start its businesses only after rain goes away!
