So, the producers were searching for a much talented and efficient director for Ajith starrer movie and now they have got settled with Saran.
Saran was a sishyan of KB and has given super hit movies like Vasool Raja MBBS, Gemini etc.,
The movie is being titled as 'Asal' (original) and the team is searching for a pair for Ajith. To be noted here is that Ajith is not interested to pair with Nayan due to consistent failures with her and also saying NO to Trisha, as she did rowdism with the support of her BF, against Ajith fans.

Rajini depends on Santhanam for Enthiran success?

Prabhu Deva lost his son to cancer

Noted choreographer and leading director Prabhudeva's 13 year old son Vishal passed away today morning at his house in Chennai. It has plunged the Deva household into grief

Vishal was fighting a losing battle with cancer from a young age. Prabhudeva was constantly by the side of his son, in his last days. In fact the little boy was given the best medical care available in the world.
Film personalities including Ajith, Vijay, Prakashraj, Sreeman, director SA Chandrasekharan, cinematographer Raviverman, directors Tharun Gopi, Arun Pandian among others thronged to Prabhu Deva's house. Vishal will be buried at Besant Nagar crematorium.

After Adavari Mataluku Ardhale Verulae in Telugu, director Selvaraghavan has chosen actress Trisha again for his Tamil venture with Vishal.

The project that will kick off next year will feature Trisha in the female lead. The project, proposed to Gowtham Menon was about an international gangster 'Abu Salim' and the gangster's date with actress Monica Bedi.
Even though the theme was given to Gowtham, Gowtham failed to make a screenplay with it in the given time and hence Sivaji Productions, break the contract.
Now the project is being handed over to Dharani and Dharani is ready with his story and the shooting will be started shortly. Ajith is doing the lead role.

Riya Sen arrested by police in Chennai

Director Shankar's complaint on Meera Jasmine

'Andhapurathu Veedu' is the film produced by Director Shankar under the banner of S Pictures.

With Naga wielding megaphone for the film, it features Nanda and Meera Jasmine in lead role. Nevertheless, with Meera Jasmine getting herself out of this project, she didn't appear for yesterday's shooting schedule as per call sheet. Henceforth, Director Shankar has registered a case against Meera Jasmine in Producers Council claiming compensation of Rs. 25Lakhs.

Unlike other Kollywood movies, Enthiran, starred by Rajini and directed by mega budget Shankar will have dolls of Robo Rajini in all of its promos.

Initially 1000 dolls will be circulated to all major cinema halls and will be kept for display.
When the movie will be almost complete, the dolls will be replaced with a new set of dolls having Rabo Rajini along with Aish.
